Paralympic athlete Diogo Cancela, ambassador for the Alves Bandeira Group, recently visited the company's headquarters to share one of the greatest achievements of his career: the bronze medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games, won in the 200-meter individual medley event. During his visit, employees of the Group had the opportunity to meet him in person, take some photos with the current world vice-champion, and feel the "weight" of the medal Diogo proudly carried on his chest. At the end, Diogo made sure to present a copy of the official Paralympic diploma to Rui Bandeira, President of the Alves Bandeira Group, as a gesture of gratitude for the support he has received over the years.

Diogo Cancela is one of the most promising Portuguese Paralympic athletes. His career, marked by resilience and overcoming challenges, includes numerous national and international titles, with standout performances in the European and World Paralympic Swimming Championships. This bronze medal, won in Paris 2024, is a historic milestone in his career, the result of years of intense training and dedication.
